Valley Sport - COVID-19 Update
COVID-19 Restrictions Update - June 2021







Restrictions from 11:59pm Thursday 10 June 2021 for Regional Victoria From 11:59pm 10 June 2021, there was an easing of restrictions for Regional Victoria:
Leaving home:
There are no restrictions on the reasons to leave home, but staying COVIDSafe remains important
Public Gatherings:
Permitted for up to 20 people
Private Gatherings:
Limited to two adults per day together or separately (dependants of visiting adults excluded from cap)
Face coverings:
Face coverings must be carried at all times
Must be worn indoors except if at home, or if an exception applies
Must be worn outdoors where 1.5 metres physical distancing cannot be maintained
Indoor Physical Recreation & Sport:
Open
Density quotient of 1 person per 4sqm
Maximum venue capacity 150, including no more than 50 indoors
Maximum group size: 10 people indoors, 20 outdoors
Community sport:
Open for all ages, training and competition
Cannot travel into metropolitan Melbourne for community sport
Limited to minimum number of people required to participate in and facilitate the activity and must be within venue caps above
Outdoor Physical Recreation & Sport:
Open
Density quotient of 1 person per 4sqm
Maximum venue capacity 150 people, including no more than 50 indoors
No venue limit if 100m distance can be maintained between groups (e.g. golf)
Maximum group size: 20 people
Community sport:
Open for all ages, training and competition, but cannot travel intro metropolitan Melbourne (unless for work) and must be within venue caps above
Higher
education and training:
If you can study from home, you should continue to study from home
Work:
If you can work from home, you should continue to work from home. Office work – 50 per cent return or up to 20 people if total workplace is 40 or less
