Current restrictions: From 11:59pm Tuesday 21 August for Victoria
5 reasons to leave home:
Shopping for necessary goods and services (one person per household, once per day, a support person can accompany if required)
Caregiving or compassionate reasons
Authorised work or permitted education, or work interstate
Exercise (up to two hours, with one other person or members of your household)
Receive a vaccination
Sports & Recreation:
No indoor or outdoor sport or physical recreation
5km Radius:
Exercise and shopping will be limited to five kilometres from home.
If there’s no shops in your 5km radius, you can travel to the ones closest to you.
Face Coverings:
Must be carried at all times
Must be worn indoors and outdoors by Victorians aged 12 years or over except if at home, or when visiting an intimate partner’s place of residence or if an exception applies
Recommend primary school age children wear masks indoors and outdoors, except at home or if an exception applies
Exception for food and drink limited so that face coverings can only be removed to eat and to drink non-alcoholic beverages
Gatherings:
Public gatherings: Not permitted
Private gatherings: Not permitted, intimate partner visits / single person bubble permitted

The Victorian Youth Congress is the Minister for Youth’s advisory group of young people who work with government to put young people’s ideas and experiences at the centre of government decision-making. With the summer sports season just around the corner, the Victorian State Government has opened up a round of grants to help clubs and community organisations provide adequate shade at your facilities.Up to $50,000 is available in order to create new shade structures, repair old ones, or provide natural shade options where appropriate. Applicants may also request up to $700 for sun protection items only.

Community Sport and Active Recreation organisations that had events cancelled due to the August lockdown in Victoria can now apply for funding with the Sporting Club Grants Program closing date extended to 5pm 27 August 2021.The Program provides $2,000 grants for clubs and community organisations that had events cancelled due to the recent July lockdown from 11:59pm on Thursday 15 July to 27 July 2021 and is being extended to cover the August lockdown in Victoria from 8pm on Thursday 5 August to 11.59pm on 12 August 2021.Closes: Extended until 16th September 2021.For more information, visit our website: https://valleysport.net.au/sporting-club-grants-program-4/

The Local Sporting Champions ProgramThe Local Sporting Champions program provides financial assistance for coaches, officials and competitors aged 12-18 participating in state, national or international championships. Moira Shire Council's Community Recovery Grant programTo enhance Moira Shire Council's communities, as we come out of COVID restrictions, applications are now open for a one-off Community Recovery Grant program - Moira Shire Council.Grants up to $2,500 are available to help realise opportunities which support and improve health and wellbeing through community engagement, collaboration, innovation and social connection.Closes: 29 October 2021.To find out more, please visit our website: https://valleysport.net.au/coronavirus-community-recovery-grant/

Strathbogie Shire Council's Sponsorship ProgramThe Sponsorship Program incorporates funding opportunities for events that compliment the focus areas identified as priorities for the Strathbogie Shire Council.Sponsorship requests of and above $1,000 and up to $5,000 are available.Applications are ongoing.
