In February we welcomed Sharna Faralla to the Valley Sport team! 😀

Sharna joins us with a wealth of experience in community sport, having previously worked as a Regional Development Officer with Golf Australia. A passionate advocate for community sport, Sharna has been actively involved as a participant, coach, and committee member across various sports, including riding clubs, netball, football, and golf. Valley Sport attended the Benalla Community Expo!

We had a great time at the Benalla Community Expo, connecting with local community groups and engaging families in fun and active play!

The expo aimed to build local relationships and encourage more community members to get involved with local organisations. Valley Sport was there with toddler and children’s games, and we saw 14 recorded participants (plus many more joining in the fun!).

The event also featured a range of interactive sport and activity stalls, including:

  • NEMA Colour Run

  • Baseball

  • Darts

  • Hockey

  • Golf

  • CFA Come & Try

With hundreds of attendees and 65 local stalls, it was a fantastic day of community connection and physical activity!
