Sports Clubs & Associations, We Want To See How We Can Help You!
Our Club Support Officers are surveying clubs to help us better understand the position of regional sports clubs and associations. Our team hopes to gain a deeper insight into how clubs are faring during what has been an incredibly interrupted couple of seasons, and we hope to be able to assist your club moving forward.

COVID lockdowns have been hitting the sport and recreation community hard, we know anxiety and stress are common feelings that occur. There is support available, please know you are not alone. It is a good idea to check in on your club players, volunteers, members, supporters to let them know that they haven't been forgotten about while sport is currently not able to go ahead. You can do this by asking R U Okay? For more information about how to ask, please see below.

R U OK? A Conversation that could change a life
R U OK? focuses on building the motivation, confidence and skills to connect with those in their world and lend support when someone is struggling with life.

is a campaign to benefit all participants, officials, administrators and supporters across the grassroots sporting community. The first phase of the campaign provides resources and tips for coaches to help them build an R U OK? Culture to support their athletes and players. The Get Active Kids Voucher Program helps eligible families get their kids involved in organised sport and recreation activities by reimbursing the cost of membership and registration fees, along with uniforms and equipment essential for participation. The SCIF program was relaunched this year and aims to help clubs, leagues and regions to achieve strategic objectives and provide a platform for long-term, sustained success.Successful applications for clubs so far have included; funding for 12 months Accounting Software Subscriptions, establishment and development of new junior and women’s teams, costs to assist with team / club, mergers, support for Indigenous teams and diversity programs.

The Local Sporting Champions ProgramThe Local Sporting Champions program provides financial assistance for coaches, officials and competitors aged 12-18 participating in state, national or international championships. Community Sport Sector COVID-19 Survival Package The Community Sport Sector COVID-19 Survival Package provides grants to support the operational viability of community sport and active recreation organisations impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.Clubs can apply for $1,500 and associations and leagues can apply for $2,500. Funding can be used for ongoing fixed costs, essential salary costs and any other costs that keep organisations viable and to purchase equipment and cleaning supplies necessary to function in a COVIDSafe manner once restrictions ease.
